Cannon's Two Cents
(and some miscellaneous pictures)
By mommy
Cannon had a great time playing with grandma and grandpa as long as mom was close by.  He loved playing cars with grandpa and Connor and thought our trip to the Botanic Gardens was great!  He was on cloud nine when we went to the river.  He just splashed in the water and played with big sticks to his little heart's content.  Cannon is such a sweet and smiley baby.  I think grandma and grandpa enjoyed getting to know him better.  Hopefully he will remember them quickly when we see them again in July!

Here are a few pictures that I wanted to include from Don and Virginia's visit that didn't really fit with anyone's post.  I'll just add them on to Cannon's:)  Here are some from our trip to the Botanic Gardens.  We went on Friday while the big kids were in school.  Connor and Cannon enjoyed having grandma and grandpa to themselves.  Plus these two daddy's boys love the extra time with dad too!  We laughed when we noticed that Connor, Cannon and Don were all wearing a brown polo shirt that day.  They looked so coordinated.

A few more pictures from our day at the river.  Rick enjoyed sitting back and chatting with his folks.  I was glad he had somebody to talk politics with since my political conversations go something like, "I sure home Mitt Romeny wins the election.  The end."

I love this picture because it totally captures the stage that Connor and Cannon are in right now.  Connor running all over the place and Cannon going as fast as his little legs can carry him to keep up.

Sadie loved Virginia but she wasn't so sure about Don.  I got these pictures of him trying to make friends with her.

Did we metion that these two even played basketball? They've got game!
We all had such a great time!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!
A Great Visit From my Awesome Grandparents
by Taylor

I had a great time while grandma and grandpa were here.  Grandpa was awesome and always making homemade ice cream.  Big Rock park was tons of fun!  Abby got really freaked out when she got stuck at the bottom of the dam.  Monday was lots of fun.  We got to miss school and go to the science museum.  Then dad, grandma, grandpa, Parker and I went to the place that they make money.  The tour was really cool.  We got to learn about how they make money.  I also got to see the new $100 bill.  Something that I learned that I'm really surprised about is that the largest bill that is made is the $100 bill.  We played horse with grandpa and he beat us bad.  Another evening grandma came out and played basketball with us too.  Grandpa's really acurate with his shooting.  I was impressed.  Grandma was good too.  Can't wait to see them in Peru and then again at the reunion!  I love you!  Thanks for visiting!!! This is Taylor Cazier signing off.

The True Story of When Grandma and Grandpa Visited
by Abigail

It was a bright and sunny day.  The doorbell rang.  In walked Grandma and Grandpa!  We all ran to meet them.  There was a happy reunion of hugs, smiles and laughter.  We had a lot of fun times together and the ones I'm probably going to remember most are...when they shared the slides of our ancestors and told us more about them, the wonderful kabobs that we had for dinner one night, the movies we watched, when we went to the science museum together, when we went to Big Rock park and played in the river, the game night we had, playing tickle monster, the homemade ice cream and milkshakes that grandpa made, going out to Golden Corral and I will never ever forget how much I love and miss them right now.  The end.

Grandma and Grandpa Cazier's Visit
By Kambry

I had such a great time when my grandparents visited us!  We got to have a BBQ.  We also went out to eat at Golden Corral.  They also played school with me and I got to be the teacher!  We went to Big Rock Park.  There is a river there that we played in.  We even had a picnic there.  On Sunday we took our grandparents to church with us.  I sat by grandma during Sacrament Meeting.  After church I showed grandma how to make paper cubes.  It was fun!  On Monday we stayed home from school to go to the Fort Worth Science and History Museum with my grandparents.  We got to do the dionsaur dig there.  I found quite a few fossils.  We did the energy blast.  Grandma and grandpa liked it.  Our grandparents showed us some stuff about our ancestors.  We also got to watch a movie called 17 Miracles.  I made a tent that we played games in.  Grandpa made us some really good homemade ice cream.  I was really sad when they had to leave.  I can't wait to see them this summer at the family reunion!

When Grandma and Grandpa Cazier Come
by Parker
When grandma and grandpa got here, I was so excited!  Kambry made a tent and I got to play Push 4 in it with grandma and Kambry.  We played basketball and had a BBQ.  I was impressed at how good they can play basketball!  One night I got to snuggle and chat with grandpa.  I got to stay up extra late.  It was fun.  We talked about what I want to be when I grow up.  He told me stories and showed me some pictures of him when he was a cub scout leader and there were some bears that were trying to get his food!  Instead of running to protect the children, he ran and got his camera.  It sounds funny but I probably would do that also.  Maybe.  Take a few shots then protect the food and children.  We also went to Big Rocks Park.  There is of course a whole bunch of big rocks.  And also there is a river by it.  I never knew grandpa can make such good ice cream.  He made chocolate and strawberry.  I think chocolate was my favorite.  We also played Tickle Monster.  Grandpa laid on the ground with his eyes closed and we kind of quick touched him and had to try and get away before he gets us.  And if he does get us, then he tickles us!  We also got to play school.  Kambry was the teacher and we were the students.  Grandma and grandpa and me, my older brother Taylor, Connor and Abby were the students.  We went to the science museum.  We did the dino dig and I found some fossils.  Me and grandpa flew our paper airplanes with each other.  It's fun when they visit!  I love them so much and I'm glad they're my grandma and grandpa!

Our Favorite Florida Fans

This past weekend we were lucky enough to have our favorite Florida Fans, a.k.a. Grandma and Grandpa Cazier, visit us!  They have served several missions for our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and are home in between missions right now and making the rounds to visit with their children and grandchildren that are spread out all across the country.  We had such a wonderful time with them and loved every minute we had together.  It made me wish that we lived closer to them so that we could see them more often.  I loved watching our kids play with their grandparents.  I especially loved seeing them chat together and getting to know each other better.  Don and Virginia are such amazing and loving people.  I am so grateful for the example that they are to me and for the love that they have for each of us as well as the gospel.  I took so many pictures while they were here, I decided that rather then do one monster post with a million pictures, I would let the kids each do a little post and share the memories that they have of their visit.  One thing we did while they were here is visit the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.  They were gracious enough to let me do a little photo shoot with the two of them while we were there.  They will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next year and I wanted to snag a few pictures of the lovely couple while I had the chance to.

Oh, and here's a picture of our family that Virginia took for us. What a good lookin' group!
